The Czech Republic may seem to the visitor like a land of fairy tales. In every region you will find sparkling examples of the years gone by. All architectural styles are represented, ranging from Romanesque to Gothic to Baroque and Renaissance. The sheer number of castles and chateaux are a result of the domination fo foreign persons over the land. However, they hold the key to the history and spelendor of this great nation.
